Sanya Agarwala
High School Student · Founder of The Project PLAY
The Project PLAY was founded by Sanya Agarwala, a high school student interested in pediatric healthcare, purposeful play, and creating meaningful experiences for young patients.
Sanya began The Project PLAY with the goal of creating something that could support children during real moments of care — waiting, recovering, transitioning between appointments, or simply needing engagement. The organization began with one simple idea: play can be purposeful, and children in healthcare settings deserve experiences designed thoughtfully for them.

Youth-Led
The Project PLAY is designed and directed by a high school student. Every project, plan, and page reflects that youth perspective.
Purposeful Play
Inspired by pediatric Child Life and occupational-therapy practices, each project is built around real healthcare moments and clear intentions.
Grounded in Care
The Project PLAY is currently in its earliest stages. Our team is developing the first Magic Academy Adventure Kit, planning the first community fundraiser, and inviting professionals and volunteers to help shape what comes next.
